Bedient Pipe Organ Company's Opus 28

Getting Opus 28 ready for the Open House

Open House — Saturday, January 11th

We have finished up our in-shop work on Opus 28, and it’s time to celebrate! Please come celebrate with us this Saturday, January 11, from 1 – 5 pm. We’ll have Opus 28 in the Tower to see and play. You can even watch the tracker action move while the instrument plays.

There will be punch and cookies and our new friends from the Nebraska Organ Recovery System will be there too (see below). There should be plenty of parking, thanks to our friends at the Sesostris Shrine across the street. To get to our shop, go to the corner of Highway 77 and Saltillo Road, turn west, and then onto Shrine Way (look for the Fez!). We will be on your left and overflow parking will be on your right! We’re excited to see you there!

We are very pleased to announce our Corporate Partnership with the Nebraska Organ Recovery System (NORS). NORS has worked tirelessly in Nebraska and Pottawattamie County, Iowa to match organ tissue donors to recipients. The Bedient-NORS relationship started as a joke. You might have seen the photo album, “Opus 28 — the Story of an Organ Transplant” on Facebook. Well, we extended an invitation to the good people at NORS as community outreach, and became their first corporate partner. It feels good to be in this type of partnership, and we are calling it #Organs4Organs on Twitter and Facebook.
