Think Small

Looking for a portable pipe organ?

Our new Lancaster Continuo will fit in your minivan, suv or station wagon.

Designed to withstand the rigors of transport, this pipe organ features one 50-note manual with three complete stops: Gedackt 8′, Flute 4′ and Principle 2′.  The sturdy quartered oak case separates into two pieces–with the base containing the blower and reservoir and the top portion containing the windchest, pipes and keyboard.  A folding music rack and recessed handles add even more convenience.

Two people can move the organ easily, allowing the Lancaster to be set up in seconds:

It sounds wonderful! It would be wonderful for an organist to haul to give recitals, play for a vocalist or choir, instead of hoping that there was a good organ where you were going to play.

We were fortunate to be able to use this instrument as part of our orchestra during the premiere performances by the South Dakota Chorale in December. Not only did it provide the ideal continuo sound for Handel, but it’s compact design made it easy to place within the orhcestra and easy to transport from one performance venue to another.
